As a proud descendant of the Wambaya people from the Barkly tablelands, NT. My ancestors' experiences have taught me a lot about how to overcome challenges and to respect the incredible offering that is the place (country) in which we live.

My grandmother was a member of the Stolen Generations, taken from her family at just three years old.
My great, great grandmother witnessed the first Europeans arrival on her country and she, along with my great grandmother were forced to work the cattle introduced to their lands in order to survive.

These incredibly brave, resilient women are a constant reminder of what is possible.
